I'm not a tech genius but I'm by no means a complete idiot when it comes to technology but I was a little concerned at how little I know about card storage. I got one with a small, no-frills digital camera a few years ago and have been using it, but a recent oversight exposed my ignorance. I took my little Panasonic camcorder to my daughter's competition to record her performance (she does color protection). We bought a camcorder a few years ago. He needed a memory card, so I just pulled it out of another camera, thinking I'd need that. Here, not understanding the difference between MB and GB ruined my plans. When trying to record a program, I kept getting the message that the memory was full. It turns out. The card was only 512 MB! Those of you in the know are laughing, I'm sure. This card has good storage capacity. I have recorded some of my daughter's exercises but I still have less than half of the available storage space. I also found that you get what you pay for. I bought a standard card that didn't work and another that quickly failed, so now I only trust SanDisk! My next step is to get 32GB and always have a backup card!
