UPDATE: All the decals have peeled off leaving a horrible goo. If I could turn back time I would never use it. The holes were far less of a problem than the glue that's everywhere now. I had to completely cover the sofa with fabric to keep the glue residue from staining me and my clothes. Make no mistake, it will be pretty obvious that you put a sticker on the sofa. However, if they're on the side where they're not subject to constant flexing or folding from sitting or tipping, then they're great for patching the hole and keeping it from getting bigger. For holes in a commonly used area like the seat cushion, I wouldn't bother holding my breath. The way the pad creases and grooves under pressure will cause the sticker to pop out and peel off.
