My hands are a bit too big to get through the hole and pull the tail pieces through, but the detangler and smooth loops make the tail easy to braid. I suggest cleaning the tail thoroughly and leaving it on for a couple of weeks for best results and only taking it off when needed, great for the winter but not worth the hassle if you are putting in heavy work every weekend.
