I've tried many sub-$35 headphones over the years. I've bought a lot of cheap headphones; I tend to hit 'em, confuse 'em, rip 'em, sink 'em, get 'em dirty and lose 'em. So I don't want to spend money on audiophile quality headphones and I think anyone looking for that kind of quality should look at big Sennheiser or other cans instead. Wide range of music genres and better sound than some headphones I've paid triple the price for. Not audiophile quality, but a pretty good mix of saturation and clarity, and with superiority over the Skullcandy, Sony (not surprising with these brands, I know) and other headphones I've tried, it's immediately noticeable. I have now bought several pairs. stocked in various locations and while I originally thought $8-$9 was a steal, as of this writing the price is in the $7 range. worked fine for a few days!
