I had knee surgery a few years ago and ended up with screws in my kneecap and femur. The surgery went well, but I couldn't sleep on my side because it put pressure on the screws when my knees touched. Over the years I've tried pretty much every type of pillow known to man in hopes of solving my problem. Then "BAM" one night while surfing in Revain, I came across this pillow. However, I was reluctant to spend $50 on a pillow. So instead I admired the pillow from afar and continued to suffer at night. In the end my husband forced me to buy it. (Apparently I was also keeping him awake because of my constant movement) Now I could kick myself for not realizing this sooner. Perfect. The pad curve is perfect for my kneecap position. I can honestly say that the pillow fixed my sleeping problem.
