Firstly, anyone selling this product will know you need two and of course this item comes in pairs. No, it's a ballpoint pen - mind you, without the "s". It was surprise #1. And the one that was sent was broken so I sent it back and they sent a replacement. I needed two more so I placed another order .the new one came quickly but even though i ordered the same walnut i got a handle not in walnut but in pine.at least it didn't break.if i could rate it under one star i would.
