**Updated 4/14/21** I've been emailing Elegoo for two weeks now. They think they figured out my hot bed sensor is broken, but I don't think it's because the extruder isn't heating up. They sent a replacement part which they said will get to me in 10-20 days. So what else to expect, I will say that Elegoo customer support is really good. They emailed me every day to try to solve my problem despite the time difference. **Original review from 04/01/21** So here is my Neptune 2 review, my third 3D printer. At this point I have an idea of how they work. So I'm not exactly a noob, but I'm still working on it. I had this item on my wish list for almost two months and checked often to see if it was in stock. When I happened to check one evening last week, it was in stock! I ordered it together with PLA and just waited. Fast forward to today when I decided to collect it. It was well packaged, one box in a Revain box. The Elegoo box itself was a little damaged, but nothing major. The assembly isn't bad, it probably took me less than an hour. The instructions are reasonably clear, although not everything is noted there. Before you make your first print, I'll look at other assembly videos to see if you missed anything. Everything was tight and alignment was easy. Now the part with a star. When I preheat the nozzle (I wanted 215° for my PLA) it starts to heat up, reaches 22°-26° and then stops and sets the target temperature to 0° and I get "Err1" in the top right corner of the screen. Strange. So I start digging. There is no reference to any error messages in the manual, which is also strange. So I go to the Elegoo website, type in Neptune 2 and you get a big "No results found" message. Why isn't there a product page for this printer on their website? There is nothing on their website under the support tab for this printer. The only mention of this printer on the site is in the Downloads section, which links you to the open source for this printer as well as Cura. At this stage I check the connections on both the hotend and the board. I made sure everything was tight enough. At this point I know it's a temperature/temp controller issue. I carefully took the thermistor out of its little hole and saw that the bulb wasn't broken although it was covered in some sort of gray powder, possibly dry glue but otherwise needs work. . I put it back in and put the locking screw back in and the same error. Out of the box, this printer doesn't work for me. Maybe I have a marriage, maybe that gold QC sticker didn't need to be pasted on the printer. I have emailed Elegoo with my issue and will let you know if it gets resolved.
