Review on 🚲 BONMIXC Ergonomic Bike Grips: Shock Absorption, Non-Slip, Aluminum Alloy Rings Lock On - Mountain Bike Grips Review by Sean Franklin

Very good grips. Best in Parts & Components

When I first opened the box I was a bit skeptical. There are no instructions and the horns on the handles looked too small to be usable. I was wrong. The initial installation is easy. Just remove the old knobs, put them on and tighten the set screw. Did. Do not use warm, soapy water to put them on. I was happy to see that you can adjust the angle of the horns separately from the angle of the handle. Once you have the grip where you want it, move the horn, place it where you want it, and adjust the set screw. Put on the supplied end caps and you're done. I had to cut off some of the end caps to fit the handlebars but that was easy and no problem. I mounted them on my Giant Talon 29er which I use as a long distance touring bike. The rubber grips on the handles reduce vibration from the road and ensure a good grip even when wet. As for the horns. At first I wasn't sure about her. Thought they were small. However, after using them for a while, I fell in love with them. They don't slip and are very comfortable to hold. Turns out I was wrong to doubt it. I've had carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists so comfort and vibration control are very important to me. These pens solve both problems at once. The extra width at the end of the handle relieves pressure on my wrists and doesn't cause numbness in my hands. I will use them again on my next bike or if I ever wear them on this one.

Pros

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
