Purchased for a ceiling fan with inter-base lamps in a bracket. However, E14 turned out to be what the Europeans call an intermediate base. Here in the US, this size is also known as the SES or Small Edison Screw, which sits between the US intermediate socket (E17) and the candelabra socket (E12). Lost two stars due to mixed signals in the product description, the design on them seems good, they just can't be used for anything and it costs me more to send them back when they should have bought, including the cost of fuel for delivery to a local one UPS pickup truck.
