This killer has lots of pesky flying creatures that are hard to control! it is better to use than smoke, heat, scented candles, poisons, etc. There are so many insects in it that we need to clean and put in order. This is definitely not a problem as it protects us from insect bites. We have it a bit close to home so I can really hear the popping noise when big bugs come in which I don't like. But then again, it helps so much that we keep doing it. We put an extension cord around the corner of our house and next to our garden to place our Dyna Zapper trap and make sure it kills the mosquitoes that normally invade our patio. They are visible and generate heat. It should be hung in such a way that small creatures do not want to get close to a heat source that can kill them. It has a protective shield, but small creatures can still penetrate it. This is a great investment and I hope it will last for many years to come.
