Solid black surfaces are better than new ones, without streaks and bumps. Came in a large bottle with an unbranded label containing about 185 grams of toner. Also included are two gloves, a large cleaning cloth, a cap with a funnel, and a double-sided sheet with somewhat brief instructions. The "secret," if there is one, isn't just putting in new toner. It's a bit finicky and ideally requires compressed air or a vacuum, but worked very well. The description of the video also contains additional useful information. The whole process took about an hour, but I moved very slowly, checking every step. At least pour out the old toner first: all instructions mention this. The recovery process is a bit messy, but not too bad if you're careful. When you remove the roller, make sure it stays side up, otherwise the toner will get everywhere.
