This was a really great activity for my son's 11th birthday party with a Christmas theme. The children ranged in age from 5 to 12 and all enjoyed it and were able to complete the task with minimal adult assistance other than reading and demonstrating instructions/steps. This took about 15 minutes. Adults should "tie" the ends into a bow and help tie a knot on the string to hang from the tree. I have found it very helpful to pre-package all the pieces for each child by putting them in sandwich bags. It was really helpful and made counting easier and bored the kids at the party. I want to make sure you are not expecting exactly 24 with this kit, you will need additional parts. A green ribbon had a small cut and I had to buy another one for the baby. Also, a kid lost a bead so I replaced it. All in all the kids had a lot of fun and it was pretty easy to make. The decoration is stronger and lasts longer than many other children's decorations.
