I wanted a sports bra top and that's what I wanted. There is some sort of gasket included, but this can be removed if desired. I personally love it! The hem is high waisted as described and the sides come up but not too much. They're a little larger than my other suits and my tan line is showing, but my others are low-cut, I think. It covers my bum comfortably and I don't think I should have any problems even when they're wet. I'm 5ft 2", 110" and wear a size S.
