I bought these for a trip to Iceland in early September and cannot express how perfect they are for unpredictable conditions (rain for 1 hour, sun for 1 hour, rain in 20... minutes, sun for 20 minutes, etc.). With a bit of stretch, they pair well with my ankle-supporting hiking boots and keep everything below the knees dry without overheating me like long rain pants. Once I got the right size, they were very easy to put on and take off in less than 5 minutes when the weather changed and they were very easy to store away even when wet. Complaints only that the bottom strap was a bit longer (the one that goes under the boot) - it took quite a bit of effort to get the right fit so they sit low around the boot and I think that easily with one can be fixed longer strap that allows them to sit higher. They also tended to sag a bit during the day - this didn't bother me too much and they were still fit for purpose, although some of my photos did look a bit jagged unless I adjusted them beforehand. .
