I received this Dell PC adapter to connect to a high density display that only has HDMI and DVI. This adapter specifically states that it supports 4K and the video is indeed crisp and clear on a 30-inch monitor. Success! The device is very durable, with a cord that won't break easily from bending. Increased durability will come any day. My ONLY ring is that many Displayport adapters have a feature that snaps the adapter into the Displayport connector. This helps prevent accidental unplugging of the adapter when the laptop or PC it is connected to it is plugged in. If the plug was a little snug I wouldn't mention it and to be honest at this price point it would be the icing on an already good cake as I haven't accidentally unplugged it yet and that device works very well. so i'm happy Recomm is over. To the manufacturer - add a lock/release button and you have an unrivaled product.
