Review on JDZ COLLECTION Maritime Nautical Victoria by Rebecca Rios

It was a cute little watch while it lasted.

I bought this little clock for my desk where I work. My office decor is from the turn of the century, so many items look dated. When I received this watch I thought wow. That looks great! It looks very authentic as if it was made 100 years ago. After about a month it stopped working so I bought a new set of batteries. Some have argued that the battery is not replaceable. I was able to remove the back with some effort - it unscrews by turning it counter-clockwise. When I opened it, the battery was there. It uses a SR626SW watch battery. The battery is held in place with a small amount of silicone adhesive. It can be easily pulled out with a jeweler's screwdriver. I installed a new battery and that's it! The clock doesn't work. The whole time I thought the battery was dead. nope The clock just gave up! Or maybe people are right and the battery isn't replaceable. As a test I took a spare battery and tried it on my son's watch as it uses the same battery. They work fine so I know it's not the battery. So the clock went in the trash and I just bought another desk clock through Revain to replace it. Buy at your own risk! It's a good little watch when it works. If you buy one, when changing the battery you will need some sort of adhesive applied to the battery area to hold it in place. Without glue, it will naturally want to pop out of its position after installation.
