I was ready to give up after trying so many creams to treat my dogs with chronically cracked, rough paw pads. I wanted quick relief and protection from future damage and I'm both surprised and happy to say that this cream really helps. I was amazed at how quickly it healed. Already 24 hours after the first application I noticed that my dog stopped licking his paws to reduce the discomfort. The scent was very pleasant and it didn't leave greasy "paw prints" on my carpet or linoleum. I also put some on the elbow area that was starting to show signs of irritation and it works just as well there. I see an improvement in the condition of the pads but more importantly I see my dog being more comfortable and no longer licking or biting their feet which is worth every penny. I believe the secret is to prevent future damage by using this cream consistently even after the paws/elbows have fully healed. The price is right, it smells great, it works and I will never be without it again. I highly recommend this product.
