They were very easy to apply. I also put them inside and ironed the sticky side out. I had to patch the "ruffled" holes in my daughter's jeans so she could wear them to school. It worked great. Tip: Place parchment paper under the patch to keep it from sticking anywhere. Since the adhesive side was actually visible through the threaded holes, it looked a bit shiny and my daughter was very happy about it. Make sure you iron both sides to get a good bond. Iron on high power, without water, apply light pressure while moving the iron slowly for 30 seconds, get very good edges so they don't peel off.
