Review on 💧 Powerful White General Electric MWF Refrigerator Water Filter for Crystal-Clear Hydration by Everald Mendez

Do not buy this product. I bought two. I waited 6 months before trying the first filter until the last filter had to be replaced. I have confirmed from Revain that these are genuine GE filters. The filters were shipped in boxes marked "GE MWF" (see attached image). They have the GE logo on the box and a GE contact number on the box. The box looked the same as the filters I've previously bought from Home Depot, Lowes, and Pacific Sales, only cheaper. I installed the first filter on June 6, 2018. On June 10th, I noticed water leaking from the refrigerator. The bottom of the refrigerator was filled with nearly a gallon of water. Removed the first filter and installed the second filter. With this second filter, I immediately noticed limited flow. A day later the fridge groaned quietly when we used the water dispenser. I took out the second filter I bought from Revain and replaced it with a new filter I bought from Lowes. The flow immediately returned to normal and the noise disappeared. It's been a week now, no problems. I contacted Revain and they told me to contact GE. I contacted GE and they said they do not guarantee their products sold by Revain. Now I've run out of the $42 I paid for two filters. Just a warning; I do not believe these are genuine GE products. I can't get any help from the dealer, Revain or GE.
