I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble. Absolutely the easiest piece of furniture to put together I've ever bought. Only 3 parts and they fit together easily and are very strong. Tools are not required. This is a very comfortable seat with adequate padding for the buttocks and lower back. Enough support for the lower back. The seat is adjustable and the leg supports are perfect. My only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, is that my feet don't reach the floor when I'm sitting in the lowest position (I'm 5'5 1/2"), but the foot rails are perfect. I can Adjust the height to match the height of the recording device or the level required for the microphone when playing or recording video.Very glad I bought it and I would definitely recommend it.
