Bought solely to play guitar. It works great, if a bit on the high side. I just took a saw and cut 3 1/2 inches off each leg, put the removable rubber legs back on and everything is great!

This stool is perfect. My husband wanted a chair (without wheels) so he could sit comfortably and play the guitar. This was probably the easiest to put together (about 30 seconds) and it's awesome! The quality matches the price and will last for many, many years.

I recently bought this for my photo studio. It came in a REALLY small box, which scared me. I thought it was a lot of pieces. I opened it up and it literally consists of three parts. Piston, seat and legs/base. I assembled it in 10 seconds. It seems quite comfortable, it turns well and this model has no wheels (I don't call them wheels). I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble. Absolutely the easiest piece of furniture to put together I've ever bought. Only 3 parts and they fit together easily and are very strong. Tools are not required. This is a very comfortable seat with adequate padding for the buttocks and lower back. Enough support for the lower back. This is by far the worst product I have ever bought from Revain. What should have taken 15 minutes took 2 days! Firstly it didn't have 4 screws so I couldn't even assemble it when I opened the box. I put the big ring on and found that the 4 screws for the small ring were missing. I had to wait until the next day to go to the hardware store.
