Arrived on time in original packaging. Not a box within a box. No padding, styrofoam. Bubble wrap, bubble wrap in carton. Like I said, it wasn't damaged. The stool is heavy, but not heavy. It took me 20 seconds to assemble. I am slow. The height in the lowest position is great if you like to keep your feet on the bar of your chair. If you like your feet on the ground this isn't for you. I place my right foot on the stool and my left foot on one of the $10 stools or the rails. SEAT COMFORT: Could be better. I weigh 190 pounds and put it away. HEIGHT ADJUSTER: This is junk. The handle is loose and not touching the top of the hydraulic cylinder. Funny, but to lift the stool you have to go down. VERDICT: It's still better than most other guitar options at this price point.
