I had high hopes for this straightener. One of the video reviews I saw for this product featured 3 different hair patterns: 2 Caucasian women and 1 African American. I noticed that all three not only had straighter hair, but also had slightly greasy hair. I tried this straightening iron on freshly washed and dried hair. No additional product. The truth is, from what I saw in the video, my hair was greasy. This isn't usually the case when I use a regular iron. I also found that a regular iron is more versatile. This hair straightener isn't that bad, but I think I can find something more suitable for my needs.
