I've had Merrell's for years! major flaws in the design of this shoe! (1) The insole of this shoe has multiple holes, which means you can only wear this shoe with socks. If you plan to wear these shoes while fishing at a pier, dock, boat or beach, the fishing will be very painful. These small holes in the insole make it feel like needles are sticking through the soles of your feet! I can only imagine it would be even more painful if your shoes and feet got wet from water from a river, lake, beach or sweat. there is no healing tongue to help put on shoes.
