I really liked the linear yellow light bars in the photos and decided to order them. No regret! I watched a youtube video on the installation and the first one literally took less than 5 minutes with no tools. However, the 2nd device of the pair had difficulty inserting the plug into the socket as the somewhat soft plastic warped slightly making it difficult to fully insert. Aligning the exposed contact wires and plugging in the connector directly solved the problem. It should be noted that if your first try didn't ignite the marker, rotate the plug insert 180 degrees to reverse the polarity and you should be good! I just installed this so I can't respond to other weatherproofing comments, but if you put the rubber sealed socket in correctly it should work identically to the OEM unit. It goes perfectly with the cosmic navy blue of my 2016 Civic Touring.
