Great LED under cabinet lighting but read this.

So I bought them to light up the kitchen cabinet in my new house. I didn't want to drag cables and thought this would be a great alternative. And it was. However, if you want to use them for under-cabinet lighting, consider two things: 1: The bottom edge of the cabinet will interfere with motion detection. Usually there is a ledge under the cabinet. You have to put them under the closet, but the lip is in front of the light. This edge blocks the motion sensor, thereby reducing the motion detection area. You need to be about 1 foot away for it to detect movement and fire. I think you could glue them to the lip but that will expose the light and it won't look clean. 2: They must be very far apart, otherwise it won't work. Moving lights only turn on in the dark. I have 2. I have 3 cabinets in a row, I put one on the 1st and one on the 3rd and skipped the 2nd. Well, when I approached them, only one or the other would light up. I thought one was defective so I emailed the seller. I was advised to keep them at least 1 foot apart. Otherwise, one of them will think it's day and won't light up. In fact, they are about 1 foot apart. Anyway, they sent me a replacement for free. Then I realized that they need to be about 2 feet apart for both to work. It's not ideal, especially if you want light under all your cabinets. The 3rd picture shows when both lights are on, which never happens. I enabled them manually to see how they look when both are enabled. So if you plan to use them under your kitchen cabinets, I would advise you to look elsewhere. I give it 4 stars because of the good service, but it doesn't quite suit my app. Update 1/13/18: One of the gauges is under my coffee maker and when it makes coffee it has steam coming out of it. This in turn releases the double-sided tape and the light falls. I've since moved them all to my closets, 4th photo. It works great out there when it's too dark to see anything. This is a great light for ANYWHERE EXCEPT under cabinets. Update 5/4/19: So, one of the flashlights finally died and won't charge at all. Don't be too mad, I got the third one for free. Just wanted everyone to know.
