Added safety when climbing stairs in the dark

I am 69 years old and live in a two story townhouse with metal railings and 15 steps to the top floor. In the evenings I often walk up and down the stairs to the upstairs bedroom, but sometimes I don't turn on the overhead light. I attached these lights to the railing posts with magnets. So when I approach the stairs, the motion-activated lights turn on and off automatically, illuminating the stair area, making the stairs safer and easier to use, and I make no mistakes. A cheap and shiny way…

Do not buy until you read this

I saw these lightbulbs at my daughter's house and wanted to buy them. Taped under their cabinets with commando-style foam tape and I loved the brightness it offers. I ordered them and removed the stickers from the lanterns and was left with a lot of gooey goo. The attached picture is from the 2nd set I ordered to give you an idea. I plugged it in to charge and my goosebumps were gone and I carefully removed it. I installed the light after charging and the motion sensor never worked. I was able…

Not as happy as I had hoped.

I really wish they liked them better. They sounded so perfect for where I needed them in our kitchen. We have an aging lamp under the closet that I wanted to replace with this pair of lamps. I have read the product information. Reading dimensions and luminous efficacy etc. I was hoping to save electricity and even get more brightness where we need light. But everything went wrong. There were problems attaching products to the bottom of the cabinets. The glue that came with it didn't work and I…

Works better than anything I've ever bought

These little lightbulbs are AMAZING. I installed one above my front door on April 10th while it was still snowing in Chicago and it worked perfectly in the cold. It only appears at night and only when it senses movement. Although the switch can be set to the "ON" or "OFF" position. I've never gotten my key through a door in the dark, and it gives me a lot of light when I'm in front of the door. I have side lights on either side of the door, and even though I walk past these windows at night…

Great LED under cabinet lighting but read this.

So I bought them to light up the kitchen cabinet in my new house. I didn't want to drag cables and thought this would be a great alternative. And it was. However, if you want to use them for under-cabinet lighting, consider two things: 1: The bottom edge of the cabinet will interfere with motion detection. Usually there is a ledge under the cabinet. You have to put them under the closet, but the lip is in front of the light. This edge blocks the motion sensor, thereby reducing the motion…
