I am 69 years old and live in a two story townhouse with metal railings and 15 steps to the top floor. In the evenings I often walk up and down the stairs to the upstairs bedroom, but sometimes I don't turn on the overhead light. I attached these lights to the railing posts with magnets. So when I approach the stairs, the motion-activated lights turn on and off automatically, illuminating the stair area, making the stairs safer and easier to use, and I make no mistakes. A cheap and shiny way for me to add an extra dose of security, and they're narrow enough not to be seen by guests!
