Very inexpensive. I've seen it more than double the size. Yes, it's not a $300 tripod, but whatever. I freaked out when mine arrived and I couldn't separate the "split" center column. It eventually fell apart but I had to use some vises and sure enough that broke the pillar. Apparently more threadlocker was applied to the female insert than the factory specified. I emailed Sunpak and didn't get a reply so I called them and left a voice message for Gloria. She called me back a few hours later and after I told her what was going on she took my name and address and said: that will send me a new center speaker. It arrived in the mail about 4 days later and works great. Very happy with customer service.
