Want a good pair of football boots but don't play often enough to justify $100 or more? Then you're probably reading this. I bought a pair of boots on sale for $60 as I wasn't sure if they would fit, so I wanted to try these "cheaper" boots. Well they are. cheaper. The outsole and midsole are made from the same rubber, only painted white to make it look like a foam midsole. The fit was more relaxed but still fit football boots so they are smaller than my tennis shoes. You can actually go down a size from what you're used to with football boots, but other than that I'd say the size is right. The outer layer was synthetic and I felt it didn't flex very naturally in the toe box. Maybe it will soften over time and not be a problem? I felt that the lugs were a little closer together than they should be and was concerned that the grip would not be as good as a result. I didn't return them because I didn't like the shoes, but because I didn't think the $15 saving on something much better was worth it. I'll probably buy it for $35, maybe for $40.
