I'm not the type to get something because it's flashy. The LEDs didn't interest me at first, but they actually help at night. I've grown to appreciate it. I wish there were a setting that I could keep my favorite (steady - green) light when I unplug/plug it back in, but that would require some smarts. Here I am complaining about touching the (very responisve) touch sensor, but it's not that big of a deal. 5 stars for exceeding my expectations.*Using a 15.6" Eluktronics Max-15 - there is about 3/4" extra space when it's centered on the cooling pad, which is perfect. Gives me a little play room for adjusting when the legs are propped up, and it's not a bother fitting it into a backpack/messenger bag.
