This works great with my external recorder and gimbal. Feels nice and solid and gives me peace of mind that I haven't damaged the camera connectors. I'm taking off a star because it's really, really hard to open the mic and data port flaps when they're in place. Sometimes I even have to take the whole cell out of the cage to open it. This seems like an odd oversight. Otherwise highly recommended.
