Great offer! on Lighting & Ceiling Fans

Progress Lighting P2503-30W 52" High Performance 5 Blades Fan with 3 Speed Reversible Motor, White. Aside from the list price, upon opening the box I couldn't tell if they ever had been used as the original 80" length of wire had not been cut, the fan blades were still wrapped in shrink wrap and there were no visible marks on the fan motor. Assembly. Replaced the 6" bottom rod with a 4.5". -Rod of another fan and tried to install it with a remote receiver without cutting the original length of wires as I thought it was used and might have to send it back if it had problems, couldn't make it so had to trim the wires with only 12" of extra length above the lower link, finally it was installed. The installation d design, where the fan unit is supported by the canopy itself and hangs from 4 small screws bolted to the ceiling frame, is more difficult to install than other branded designs where the bottom bar is supported by an internal bracket (and the canopy only to covering serves). the mount) Anyway, it works with the remote control (only $8.50 paid by WM) and the ceiling fan works. Relatively quiet, except for a very slight roar at medium and high speeds. At 20 pounds, this feels like a solidly built fan that will hopefully last. The original cost of this fan and it weighs around 15 pounds so it's a cheaper option but looks very similar. On the other hand I bought the HB Farmington brand from HD, it's brand new but is selling for a few bucks more than I paid for it and weighs about 15 pounds. I haven't installed it yet, I'll compare the performance later.
