About 6 weeks ago I was diagnosed with blepharitis in my right eye. My optometrist prescribed me a $227 ointment regardless of my listed topical steroid allergy. In two days I went from bad to horribly worse. I've learned not to trust the doctor! He put me on oral antibiotics which helped but the itching was still bad. I have used expensive eye wipes, creams and nothing has helped so far. After three days of twice daily use, the itching was finally gone. Imagine mosquito bites all over your lash line, top and bottom. No relief, the itching is so bad that I feel sick. All studies indicated months to heal. We all need to find what works for us. I have very sensitive skin and just plain petroleum jelly relieved dryness, warm wet compresses and best of all these eye wipes. Keep an eye on this condition. I have also invested in the packaging of disposable mascara wands and will never double dip them or use a wand in a tube. I only wear makeup when I go to special places and take it off as soon as I get home. I use these wipes to remove it. I can't speak for others, but honestly if you're as stumped as I am, give these a try.
