We used to feed our cats quality 'wellness' cat food. mainly because we wanted a grain free option and read great reviews. However, having fallen on difficult times, we had to cut costs and look for cheaper cat food. We didn't expect to find a grain free option. but then we came across it! We ordered it right away. We didn't transition our cats slowly or anything. We just started feeding her Purine Pro Plan Grain Free. One of our cats, who is a picky eater, actually dug into it and wouldn't stop eating. Usually she takes a few bites and leaves. She usually sticks to dry food. I've never seen her like canned cat food so much. My other furry glutton and obsessed with food wouldn't eat it. He sniffed at it and licked the bowl but didn't really want to put it in his mouth. Again. another premiere! I've never seen a cat refuse her food. It actually took him 3 days to give up and eat it. I added some tuna on the second day and that was it. 3 days eaten everything without going out. In general I am satisfied. No complaints. Plus we're saving!
