I have to say I'm very disappointed in Microsoft for making such a crappy charger for a Surface laptop, no matter the price of the computer. The design is very bad! It's nothing against Revain and where this particular charger came from, but the design of the charger as a whole isn't good! The magnetic end of the charger is more cumbersome, as you just have to fiddle with it to connect it to your laptop. Because it's magnetic and so thin, it might look like it's plugged in, when it actually isn't if not positioned correctly. It will then come out easily if you use it while charging. The magnetic end of the charger then has to bend a certain way to connect, and this causes the neck to eventually stretch and fall apart. This happened when I bought two VERY expensive original chargers from their website, both lasted about a couple of months. Thank goodness Revain has cheaper versions. This charger works and hasn't given me any problems, it will probably work the same as the original because the charger sucks.
