I bought the 4T for my average 3 year old based on the reviews. I'm glad I did! They fit perfectly with little room to grow. I bought the brown one which as others have mentioned is more of a reddish brown. I was happy with this as it goes so much better with my daughter's Halloween costume. The quality seems good enough. She only wore them once to try them out so we'll see!
