PROS: 1) Better weather band reception than my dedicated weather radio 2) FM reception is good. Tuning can be delicate due to the small knob, but that's the nature of a small radio. 3) AM seems to work fine. 4) I like the sound quality. 5) The motion sensor works great to turn on the reading light which if set to Auto will turn itself off shortly after motion is no longer detected. I use it as a night light on my kitchen table. 6) It charged my phone by 20% in 15 minutes (I just wanted to charge the battery). 7) The emergency switch works normally. Press the button for a few seconds and the flashlight will flash while the alarm is sounding. CONS: 1) The handle on the charging handle keeps popping out. 2) There is very strong interference on AM until the LEDs indicating battery power turn off (about 30 seconds). seconds after switching on the radio).3) The ball at the end of the antenna has come loose and is no longer screwed on. I currently have it jammed. OVERALL OPINION: Build quality could be better, but you get a weather radio, AM radio, FM radio, flashlight, reading light, motion sensor, emergency beacon, and cell phone power bank - all powered by batteries powered by USB can be charged. Solar or crank for less than $40. I like radio.
