Received this backpack today and it's immediately stuffed with everything I might need for a 3 day trip. I still have to work on the article placement. I think I gave it 4 stars for the capacity which I think is 45L. The backpack itself only says 17 inches. The backpack is well made and waterproof lined. When using a spray bottle, water rolls off and is not absorbed. .Heavy rain could be something else. In addition, the zipper channels are lined. What I don't understand is why there are pockets for laptops and devices in the rear compartment, but it is a central compartment with a USB cable and an external side port. I didn't have a laptop that wasn't fully plugged in, so I used my computer's USB port to power the backpack connection, and then used the Logitech headphone charging cable to charge the headphones. The test here was, continuity ensure and that was it worked properly. . There are at least 8 zippered compartments. The large ones have double zips to allow easy locking with small padlocks. The rearmost compartment has a cross ring through which a small padlock can fit (size according to what is in the luggage). pleasantly soft. here are loops of fabric in various places for tying cords etc. (they are about the size of a pencil). This backpack has a sturdy top center carry handle. The backpack straps are about 3 cm wide and well padded. What you won't find, and this is a big plus, are multiple belts with plastic connectors that hook onto the conveyor belts. There are nylon mesh bottle holders on each side of the back. There is a headphone jack at the top center. There may be other features that I haven't discovered yet. The back is black with a red border. Oh, the smallest compartment in the front has room for pens and paper and a key ring. I think I will be very happy with this backpack.
