2nd unit has worked well so far. It's so cool when the humidifier's evaporation function is on. I made all the recommendations to test the problem. The fan works normally, but the cooling/humidifying function stops working. It's only a fan when not working. The 1st new shipment was sent to me, this function did not work at all. Now this has stopped. I hope the 3rd block is the charm? The manufacturer is currently not answering phone calls. Surprise me!? I would try a different brand but I would have to return this to get a different manufacturer. I can't store boxes. I don't buy a box. I only have one exchange left! Try another brand if you need a cooler like this.
