The connector fits my 2012 Audi Q5 2.0T easily. Threads fit perfectly, no leaks yet. I considered using my original washer with the factory Torx T25 drain plug, but settled on the one that came with the new 19mm hex drain plug. Everything is fine with this solution. Like others, I may choose to purchase a Mityvac canister or similar for future oil changes. I'm glad I was able to remove the torx that snapped off without going to the dealer or another mechanic. If you have a similar situation, use locking pliers or a vise on anything you can bite off the outside of the factory torx and as long as it isn't over tightened you should be able to remove it. Tighten the vise firmly so the teeth bite and re-tighten the spindle, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch with channel locks. Then it will really grab, and with a little counterclockwise twist everything is fine. I didn't use heat or a torch, just sprayed with a small PB blaster and left for an hour. Good luck to all
