I had connection issues at first but after playing with it a few times and contacting the seller it worked properly. You must press firmly and hear a click or pop. now it works great. It just charges first and then stops and the data connection fails. it's like an unstable connection that breaks from side to side. BUT it is a reversible fork. You can tilt it left OR right. Since it doesn't fit snugly into a regular microform port, it feels a bit loose. it is rounded on both sides. BUT you have to press it hard until it clicks or pops. In my case, I might have had some lint or something, and I initially had trouble with no electrical connection being maintained. but now after about 10 tries it works great! Actually, I can't let it fail. both are good. They work in the car with Android Auto, are secure, charge and transfer data for music streaming. Good product. IF YOU HAVE A CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM, JUST PUSH IT STRONGLY. I was ready to return it and then after the last try it worked great. really weird as i thought it was all pasted as it was correct when i pasted it. like other cables that work but I think it required more pressure. then it worked great. for the first time with reversible connectors on micro USB cables. Also, the seller is very quick to respond to emails. usually within an hour or less. Now I can order even shorter cables. UPDATE: I ordered more cables. This time 6 feet for next to the bed. and earlier about 3 feet next to my chair in the living room. I also have 1 leg for Android Auto in the car! They all work great! There are no losers yet.
