Of course it was a cheap part but it boasts that mounting the boom screw side up gives extra security - and this is the other way around. see attached pictures - when I fixed it like this it keeps tipping like it's about to break. The only way I can get the arrow to stay "somewhat balanced" is to attach (plant) it to the side of the open bore and of course use a weighted sandbag. In general, the product should be more stable. I'm disappointed that it doesn't have an end point so I can attach a flash or whatever, but I think it will hold my reflector well enough.
