It's only been a few months and I already need new charging cables. I usually keep charging cables for quite a while before I need a new one. My first cable broke very easily. The charging cells that go into the charging port broke within a week. I switched to a second cable which became defective after a few weeks of use. Then I moved on to the third cable, which I'm using now. He also has a disadvantage. I'm not usually aggressive with my cables so I can't figure out why this happened but I find the durability to be beyond words.
