Good but not designed for 4x4 post

As you can plainly see, the product does not fit on a true 4 x 4 post. I addressed this using four small pieces of 1x2, wedged between the base and the post. a perfect solution, adding Style to the installation. other than this one snag, I'm happy with the product. I am unable to comment on durability as it has been 2 days since installation.
