The photo is a little deceptive.
I thought the stool was much heavier, the wood used seems very light, not as structurally very strong as I thought? For the price I thought it would be a thicker wood, more durable? I don't know how the bottom is sealed and I don't want to damage the fabric to look inside. The fabric is regular, not exactly velvet, more of a smooth soft fabric but without the 'fluff' that velvet is usually famous for.
