I use an electric skillet almost every day instead of cooking on the stove. It's just cleaner and easier than messing around with pans or pots, cleaning the stove and surrounding countertops, frying pan, etc. In any case, I've tried several electric skillets over the last 20 years. Various brands and sizes. Here's what I LOVE about it.1. Cooks very evenly. However, there is definitely a ring that heats just above the heating element, which you'll notice when making sauces or gravies, etc. But it heats up much more evenly across the pot than others I've used. 2. SUPER easy to clean. Just loosen the bottom and the whole pan will fall into the rinse water.3. There is a nose on one side. You can also put a spoon there. AMAZING!4. Beautiful and deep. Holds a large capacity for whatever you are cooking. You can cook several different things at the same time.5. The base is foldable and stored in the pot. Plug in the power cord, flip the lid, and it won't take up much space in your closet. I've had it for about 6 weeks and have used it at least 30 times. So far so fantastic.
