Folding function for easy storage

Not thrilled with this pan. The non-stick surface is rough and not very sticky. It also doesn't get as hot or cook as evenly as my old skillet. The folding feature is good for storage, but that's the only thing it has. Considering it's more expensive than most other comparable pans, I'm very disappointed. Update 07/21/2016: I downgraded my rating to 1 star. The non-stick coating started peeling off after the first use. Now there are 6 spots I see where it came off and I'm afraid to keep using…

The best electric frying pan!

I use an electric skillet almost every day instead of cooking on the stove. It's just cleaner and easier than messing around with pans or pots, cleaning the stove and surrounding countertops, frying pan, etc. In any case, I've tried several electric skillets over the last 20 years. Various brands and sizes. Here's what I LOVE about it.1. Cooks very evenly. In the beginning it worked great and then the non-stick coating started.

It worked great at first, but then the non-stick coating on the bottom started to bubble. I've never put it in the dishwasher, although it's legal, and have only used it twice a month since July 2017, now late October 2017. So it happened after about 8 or 10 uses, that's generous, probably used less than that's fair. It has only ever been hand washed with hot water and dawn, I have never used anything in it other than plastic utensils, there is no reason why the non-stick coating did what it…

Excellent purchase. suitable for small appliances

I've never been a big fan of electric skillets. I've used a few over the years, but not many. I bought this pan because I have an old stove and some of the burners no longer work. I have to say that I had doubts when buying it. I received the pan and opened it and the instruction manual was missing. No problem. I called Presto and they gave me a website to download and also sent me a manual. Their customer service was amazing to say the least. They went through EVERY part of the manual and gave
