I used to install some inexpensive 4 foot LED fluorescent tubes in my garage to make it brighter. Six porcelain ceiling rosettes with a lightbulb were not enough. The amount of light they gave off was small and the lights generated such high levels of RF interference that it was impossible to listen to the radio in the garage. I replaced them with four screw-in LED lights straight into the porcelain sockets closest to my desk. Lots of light! I moved two of these to other outlets in the garage as the two next to the workbench were enough. When I turned on the radio, to my surprise, there was no RF interference. Good light, easy installation, also rock and roll. Some reviewers said they were expecting metal mounts. The product description on the page I ordered from said it was plastic. They are made of plastic and work perfectly. I don't know where the expectation for metal fittings came from. I am very happy with these lights.
