I'll start by saying I wanted to love this bag. The diaper bag seemed to have everything I was looking for and as a mother of three I have tried many bags. When the bag arrived I was beyond excited to dig into it, but my first impression of the bag was pretty cheap. I know you can, except for the $49 bag but the faux leather part was already peeling off and wasn't fully sealed, the handles weren't visible together so you could see the webbing they were attached to, the shoulder strap it was already frayed and looked like you had been using it for months. Despite these notable flaws, I tested it for my kids. The inside of the bag is made of cotton material that is not sewn into the bag. So when you put items in the pockets, the inside slides down making things difficult to access. It also cuts off a lot of space from the main open space of the bag. The depth of the pocket is also small. I have two small diapers (size 4 and 5) and the pockets don't even cover half of the diaper length which causes the diapers to fall forward. This bothered me especially when I quickly grabbed something and then threw it back in my pocket, mostly it snagged on the diaper and left me with folded diapers in my pocket or stuff in between. I have to say, despite the depth of the pockets, I liked how many of them are in there for organization. I'm not the type to like small pockets in my bag so this was perfect for organizing and knowing where everything was. The front pockets of the bag are large and have no zippers. Though I thought I'd happily toss my wallet, keys and phone in this bag due to the lack of a clasp, when I bent down to tie my sons shoelaces my phone flew out of my pocket and plopped into the street (thanks , you are a life saver) . It happened while I was carrying a shoulder bag. I thought the back pocket would be perfect for storing a changing pad, but the pillow is actually slightly larger than the pocket will allow. You can still crush it there, but it requires two hands and some strength, and then the latch won't work. The two shoulder straps are not long enough to carry over the shoulder and too long to use as bag handles. A long strap is good, but when you use it that way the bag tends to bend and just looks weird. The straps on my stroller that came with the bag were two different lengths, so the bag was slanted on the stroller when I hung it up. Although this bag looks great online, I felt it just wasn't for us. If you have never owned a diaper bag and have not been able to compare it to others, you may like it and be completely satisfied with your purchase. I personally didn't think it was worth the euro and sent it back.
